What is PowerWise?

ScottishPower has created PowerWise to encourage everyone in our communities to understand how to stay safe around electricity and how it is generated, and distributed. We hope it will help adults and children alike to:

• Recognise the equipment that takes electricity to our homes.
• Know the ‘Danger of Death’ warning sign that is fixed to equipment and understand how to stay safe.
• Consider the location of power lines and underground cables so you stay safe.
• Understand who to contact if you have a problem with your electricity supply.
